Camcorder 2009 Good For Sports Unable To Import AVI Files From Camcorder To Vista?

Unable to import AVI Files from camcorder to Vista? - camcorder 2009 good for sports

When I import video from a camcorder to my computer and tell the computer to import using Windows Movie Maker, it opens another Windows program. And when I try to pull it back into Windows Movie Maker comes with this error. How do I solve this problem?
The program opens the video in Windows Photo Gallery.on error that says:
