Can I use a normal sata external hard drive as a legitimate backup storage for a midsize business? - sata external hard drive
I was asked to investigate exists on the hard drive. There are many backup systems, drive around, but they have put $ 4000.00.
We have a tape backup right now, so we want to migrate to the hard drive.
External hard drive would, of course, a good job of doing the backup data?

More information can be found here only some of us recommend the Network program at our university, to stay with tape backups.
With external hard drives and can be painful. So many things happen that are not on the records can happen. More than $ 4000, there is a lot to swallow, if something happens.
There is an alternative that we have seen here, and it's Network Attached Storage. It is cheaper and alternative bands.
